South Africa: HIV/AIDS outreach and community development via Edzimkulu

In the past, Hands Across Africa has supported a South African project run by the Edmonton-based charity Edzimkulu.

Edzimkulu is working with people in and around the village of Ndawana in the Underberg region of KwaZulu-Natal province. The area has been hit hard by HIV/AIDS, and Edzimkulu is working to help develop resources. It is providing access to education, nutrition, orphan feeding and TB/HIV/AIDS education and treatment.

Edzimkulu and Hands Across Africa share many basic values.  Simply put, we are people banding together to help lift the lives of others in need.  For more details, please go to www.edzimkulu.org.
